I kept browsing and hoping something I wanted would pop up, but nothing I was interested in seemed to be available. Reading between the lines, it feels like the selection just doesn’t match what I’m looking for right now.

As someone who shops online a lot and expects checkout to be the easy part, this was really frustrating. I tried paying twice and both times the checkout just froze. After that, I gave up. I’m not ordering from here again.

The box came kind of dented, which was annoying. I tried reaching out about it and got transferred around before anyone could really help, which made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be.

The brush quality is nice, like it spreads the polish easy and I didn’t get much streaks from it. One of the brushes was a little uneven for me, which was kind of not perfect, but it still works fine enough...

I’ve ordered from Holo Taco a few times now, i tend to notice the color and shine first with nail polish more than anything else. On that front, these have been really good. The shades I got looked like the photos, and the holo ones are super sparkly in person. They usually last about a week on me before I see little chips, which is better than a lot of other brands I’ve tried. I also like the brushes because they’re easy to work with. I’m taking off one star because a couple shades felt a bit thick, and the price definitely adds up if you’re buying more than one. Still, I’m happy with what I picked up

I actually really like the polishes, but trying to buy them on the website was such a hassle because the pages kept loading slowly, the filters would randomly reset after I’d already narrowed everything down, and then when I went back to keep shopping my cart would act like it forgot what it was doing, which made the whole thing feel way more annoying than it needed to be.
Checkout on my phone wasn’t much better either, since it felt clunky and made me re-enter my information twice. For such a popular brand, I expected the site to be smoother, but I got fed up and ended up not ordering.

I really did want to like this polish, because the colors are so pretty. But it started chipping after about two days, and before anyone says it, yes, I used both a base coat and a top coat like I always do. I’m not sure what else I was supposed to do to make it last. For the price, I expected better wear time. It’s not awful, but the chipping was disappointing.

This polish is okay, but it kind of works when it wants to. It went on even after two coats, so the final look wasn’t bad, but the brush was a little annoying around the edges. I had to do more cleanup than I usually do, which made the whole thing take longer than expected. Not terrible, just not as smooth or easy as I was hoping.

It showed up fast, which was a nice little win. No complaints here, delivery was smooth and right on time

I do really like the polishes, so maybe I’m just being picky, but the shipping cost made the whole order feel a lot more expensive than I expected. I might buy again, but probably only if I’m getting a few things at once instead of just one or two.

I really like—well, I do like the colors a lot, but the formula is kind of hit or miss. Some bottles apply really smoothly, and then others get thick and streaky almost right away. For the price, I expected the quality to be more consistent.

I ordered one shade, but a completely different one showed up. I’m sure other customers would feel the same way, it’s frustrating when you’re expecting a specific color and get something else instead.

I like these polishes a lot, they go on nicely and the colors I’ve tried look great. I just wish there were more shades and finishes available, sometimes the selection feels a little limited when I’m trying to pick something new.

I actually really like the quality, and the polish lasts a decent amount of time on me. The only thing is the shade accuracy is a little hit or miss. A couple of the colors looked way brighter on the site than they did once I got them, especially in normal indoor lighting. It’s not terrible or anything, just kind of disappointing when you’re expecting one look and it ends up being a different vibe. I’d probably still buy again, but I do wish the photos showed the shades in more realistic lighting...

Hmm. The tracking updates took a while to come through, which was a little frustrating. Still, the order did arrive in the end, so overall it worked out. Fine.

The color is really pretty, but it still smudged even after I waited a while for it to dry. Kinda disappointing lol

I’ve been keeping up with Holo Taco for a while now, I want to say since sometime in 2020 or maybe 2021, I can’t remember exactly. What I like most is that they actually seem to talk with fans and listen to feedback, which makes the community feel involved. The launches are fun to follow too, even if they can get a little hype-heavy sometimes. Overall though, it’s a really nice brand to keep tabs on.

I’ll admit I’m probably a little biased because slow customer service is one of my biggest pet peeves, but this was still disappointing. I had a problem with my order and emailed them twice. The first response felt like a generic copy-and-paste reply and didn’t actually answer my question. Then I had to wait days to hear back again. I know companies get busy, but the whole thing was frustrating enough that I’m not really eager to order from them again.

I picked up two shades because the swatches looked super bright and fun, so I was excited to try them. Very calm about it, obviously, but the color payoff was kind of disappointing. Even after three coats, they still looked patchy and a little dull on my nails. For the price, I really expected them to be more opaque. Maybe I just got unlucky, who knows, but I probably wouldn’t order again. It felt more like drugstore polish with a fancy label...

I ended up having to return a polish because I picked the wrong shade, which was totally my fault. I should’ve looked a little closer before ordering. Thankfully, the return process was easy to follow and I didn’t have to keep messaging support or jump through a bunch of hoops. The refund also showed up faster than I thought it would. it was a painless experience, and I’d definitely order again.
